What our guests are saying about Angelfish Cove Villas
Angelfish Cove is truly paradise on earth. So extremely beautiful and peaceful. Really wonderful experience for our whole family. There was the enthralling snorkeling everyday in an almost private lagoon out the front door, beautiful sunsets and gorgeous calm weather. Everybody was so welcoming and friendly, and the kids still talk about them. We think about it almost everyday and can’t wait to go back.

“Beautiful part of the island. Nice and secluded with lots of resorts to hang out at / eat at near by. We would catch the bus in the city daily too for about NZD $2 each. Otherwise a cab might cost you NZD $15. Would definitely stay here again.”

Very good reception without formalities, calm, beach raked every morning, with coral reefs (take shoes), kayak available but rough sea during the stay, existing swimming pool. I recommend a vehicle to get there and have a total autonomy (not to wait for bush taxis). Hardwood bungalow with exotic wood for doors and floor, charming. Value for money excellent considering the service offered. You can cook and all the good quality utensils are available. Small flat, an air conditioning remote control does not work and no battery in the TV remote. Not annoying, mark 2 identical climates and no intention to watch TV. WiFI correct and also random in rate depending on the surrounding use. .

My family (Husband & 2 Teenagers) and I stayed in the 3 bedroom villa 10 - absolute beachfront with its own plunge pool .. OUTSTANDING! I am a travel agent and have visited many SP island resorts - I would put this in my top 10! Although a little worn in places (aircon in the kids bedroom didnt work) seriously great value for money - the villa is big and everyone had enough space to chill out ... there were 2 other families staying in the place but we hardly saw them so it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Snorkelling was AMAZING - we saw Dory and Nemo and a ton of other fish - but make sure you take your reef shoes. Would be great if there was a restaurant onsite but Coco's next door is adequate if a little unfriendly and being self contained you can cook basically for yourself anyway. Zilo and his staff are helpful and friendly and the night security man lit the beach bonfire for us (just ask him) so we spent a night drinking cocktails (that we made) under the stars chasing hermit crabs ... !

Very nice self contained villa's. Staff were all so very very helpful and freindly. Gave local us papaya and coconuts to try. Yum. Snorking was excellent. Coral better than at hideaway island , past the low tide mark. Easy entry off nice sand beach at full tide. Easy entry via a cutting to right of property at low tide. Very quiet part of the country. Take your own food. Coco and Paradise resorts are not cheep eating but nice to visit for a drink. Ring road walk is a reasonable walk on a hot day. Dogs although plentiful are not a problem and loals are all very friendly. A track joins both ends of the road between Angel fish and Coco. A fabulous place for a quiet get away with great snorkeling

Just finished up our 5 days stay at angelfish cove villas. We stayed in a beachfront studio villa with plunge pool. Villa 8! Angelfish cove villas are truly spectacular. Zilo the resort manager is amazing and always willing to help with a smile! The beach is beautiful, amazing coral! We hired a car so we were easily able to drive into town or explore the island (angelfish is only a 15 minute drive to town, it really isn’t that far and so many sights to see on the way). The villas are really in the best location of the island in my opinion. Lots of restaurants and cafes you can visit in resorts nearby but we loved having the freedom of staying in the villa and cooking up a barbecue everyday and utilising the kitchen! We loved going for a morning kayak! Thanks for making our first time in Vanuatu truly magical! We will be recommending angelfish cove villas to everyone!

We recently spent a fabulous week at Angelfish Cove. We booked a 2 bedroom and a studio villa which were side by side, both of which had lovely garden and water views. We found they were well appointed, super comfortable and extremely good value. The villas are 15 to 20 minutes out of town by bus and we saw no need that get a car. Yes it’s a rough road but that didn’t bother us in the slightest. We bought all our fruit and veg at the markets and everything else at the supermarket. There are 2 other resorts to eat/drink at in easy walking distance. Snorkel out the front (get out to the outer edge of the reef), make use of the sea kayaks, and get your reef shoes on at low tide because there’s plenty of interesting things to find. If you plan to scuba dive the guys from Big Blue will pick you up from the beach (the local dive sites are fantastic and so are the guys from Big Blue). The ladies who do the housekeeping are lovely and do a magnificent job, the grounds are kept beautifully, and Zilo is a hospitality wizard who’ll cheerfully organise anything and everything for you (and if you’re interested in carvings he’s the man to speak to). We’ll be back next year!

Pros: aircon, washing machine, plunge pool. Beach towels, cleaning provided , beach front, bbq, kitchen. Gardens, security, wifi
Cons: Insect screens in all bedrooms, maintain bathroom taps and villa lighting.
Location: Approx 15 to 20 min bus drive from Port Vila. Snorkel swim and kayak right at your doorstep.Watch the cruise ships come and go in the distance.
Amazing what a relaxing holiday. Spent most of the time enjoying our villa, swimming and snorkeling and watching the sunsets. Went into town about 3 times for supplies. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with magnificent views of the ocean Tip: Pack a couple of esky bags for cold groceries.

Such a beautiful location. We had the 3 bedroom villa that’s right on the beach. Having our very own plunge pool was awesome. The villa was so well equipped with everything you could need (except a grater). Beautiful sea breeze. A very well maintained property. Loved being able to choose if we cooked or walked the 10min down the very safe road to Paradise Cove’s Restaurant. We will definitely be back. Zilo is an amazing help during your stay. Was great to have a washing machine in the villa!

"Had a good stay"
The hotel is remote and near by restaurants unreliable. That said if u pick up enough food in town and remember that no alcohol is sold at the supermarket Saturday afternoon until Monday you will be OK.
Beautiful position, on the beach and in a lovely garden setting. The kitchen is well equipped and BBQ supplied. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we had a great stay.
Suggestion, a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries and one by the bed would be good.

We recently enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at Angel Fish Cove in January 2017. The Villas are very well appointed, the lush gardens, the refreshing pool, the beautiful beach are just perfect to help you unwind and relax into the Vanuatu holiday spirit. All the staff are so lovely and helpful. Bryan, Zilo and their team of lovely ladies made us feel very welcome. We will certainly come back and stay longer next time.

Angelfish cove villas was an awesome place to stay... Great sunsets, nice people, beautiful beach the list goes on there are free kayaks which are great for a paddle at sunset or even catching some waves in. If you get the chance go across the road to a village and somedays the local kids will be out the front of their houses playing soccer throwing balls etc make sure you bring gifts like pens pencils balls nail polish for the girls etc overall Angelfish cove villas was a pleasure to stay at and I highly recommend it to everyone!

A stay at Angelfish is an experience in Vanuatu hospitality. It started by being picked up st the airport and taken to supermarket for supplies on the way in. We bought a side of smoked salmon, bread, milk, butter, cheese, cereal, coffee plus a few other things and that gave us enough for our 6 day stay, allowing for a daily trip to local fruit market. Wine can be bought cheap at the duty free when you land.
The accom in no.8 is basically a large room with shower and toilet to one side there is a big breezy verandah, kitchenette is tiny but enough.
The view of the beach from the room is great.
The beach is white coral so must take reef shoes, one can walk down wade out and be in the sea in 30 seconds! Water is pristine.
Don't come here if you want a resort holiday, this place is for independents! The manager is a lovely man and helpful but don't expect a facial or day spa!
There are kayaks on the beach for one to use and we went out every day it was just sublime! I would suggest taking some basic medicines I did topple out and scrape my knee on a rock so was lucky to have iodine.
We hired a car which is a must, Port Vila is 15 minutes away and is a charming island town, and there are some great restaurants!
I can't recommend Angelfish Cove enough, it's a lovely place for a relaxing stay and would return any time!
